One Hour Session
Prints sold separately.
We begin with a pre-session consultation to discuss your expectations and ideas. We will choose a location, go over clothing options and I will answer any questions you may have. Your session fee includes a viewing session, any touch ups, creative editing, processing and handling of your print order.
Location, Location, Location!
Finding the perfect location is an important part of planning your session. I have my favorite places that I like to photograph at and will make recommendations but I always welcome your ideas. I'd love to know if there is a place that is special to your family.
"What shall we wear?"
Your family session is meant to capture your family, including individuality and style. Helpful tips to keep in mind:

Think coordinating, not matching. Incorporate colors and patterns that work together.

Don't be afraid of color. Choose a few neutral colors then add a few accent colors by accessorizing with scarves, necklaces, or clothing layers.

Wear clothing that fits, not too baggy, or too tight.

To keep the portrait timeless, avoid logos as they can also be distracting.

Feel free to text me your clothing options before your session and I will be happy to give my opinion or advice.
Children:
Get your kids prepared and excited for the session and let them know how much fun it will be but try not to over prepare and create stress for them. Kids will pick up on your stress - so remain cool and let me do the work. Our goal is to capture their true expressions. In our studio, treats aren't bribery...they are incentives. Feel free to bring your child's favorite treats and we will use them as needed.
"When do I get to see my photos?"
It can take up to 2 weeks for your proofs will be ready to view online through a password protected gallery. However, if you would like to view them at the studio, an appointment can be made.
